Heat returns to Czechia with little rain expected

According to the national weather office (ČHMÚ), the heat will peak on Saturday and Sunday, especially in southern and eastern regions. Temperatures may reach 35°C in parts of Moravia, though a cold front is expected to arrive from the northwest on Sunday evening.

Unemployment in Czechia rises to 4.4 percent in July as hiring slows

Czech unemployment rose to 4.4 percent in July from 4.2 percent in June, with nearly 330,000 people out of work, according to the Labour Office. The increase is attributed to the seasonal drop in hiring and the arrival of recent graduates on the job market.
